I have to post and run before Blogger's scheduled outage at 4PM PDT. Two quick links. Kim Berry at Programmers Guild put together a letter rebutting the calls from SIA and IEEE-USA to ask for a substantial increase in Greed Cards to be issued. If interested, he'd like people to sign the letter by 5:00 PDT today. This is probably too late to be of any use, but I thought I'd try.
Also, check out the comments in this InformationWeek article from October 11, 2007. I think the writers wrote some of the best comments I've seen in a long time.
