The mainstream media's love for All Things Male and Military is nothing new. We all remember the likes of Chris Matthews and G. Gordon practically going into spontaneous orgasms at the mere sight of the coward George W. Bush with socks stuffed into the crotch of his flightsuit in 2002. More recently Tweety has talked of the "thrill going up his leg" at Barack Obama.

But no one gives the Manly Men of Media more of a boner than that soldier di tutti soldiers, John McCain.

And no one is going to call them on it like my compatriots in Blogtopia (™ Skippy).

And so today's honoree (and newest blogrollee) is Blue Girl from Blue Girl, Red State, said red state being, appropriately, Missouri -- for her ever-vigilant eye on, and debunking of, the heartflutters of the media whores who love John McCain.
