I made me a sandwich

Ok so I have a thing for cheese, tomato and basil sandwiches, but how could you not? Sweet slices of ruddy red vine-ripened tomatoes, shavings of sharp vintage Cheddar and a generous handful of basil leaves combine for a lunch that is healthy and tasty.A crusty fresh bread roll is my preferred canvas; a sprinkle of sea salt and several twists of freshly cracked pepper provide the final touches
