Hooray for Avenue Q, which has broken a 62-year-old record by becoming the longest-running show at the Golden Theatre.
If you live in the New York area, or are planning to visit New York soon, do not miss this show. With the most singable score since Frank Loesser, enough snark to satisfy even the most cynical among us, but with not a mean bone in its body, and even a good dollop of explicit puppet sex (which gives a new dimension to the concept of the foursome), it's nice to see something this quirky do so well.
