Around the blogroll and elsewhere: Beyond Human Comprehension edition

I'm busy working today, so here are some links to keep you occupied.

Via mistermix, interactive before-and-after photos drive home the extent of the catastrophe in Japan. More photos here.

Larry Kudlow, that soulless piece of shit who was grinning like a Cheshire cat the night of 9/11/01 because the attack meant an end to any talk of a Social Security lockbox, is at it again.

As part of that whole magnetic-poles-are-reversing thing, Lieberman want to halt construction of nuclear power plants, while Chuckie Cheese Schumer says "Damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead."

Al Jazeera is liveblogging events
as they unfold in Japan, which is more than American news outlets are doing. Just watch for wiretaps on your phone after you visit the site. Such things could get you in front of a Peter King hearing.

Note to Chris Cilizza: Do you think you could put down the political popcorn for a day? There are tens of thousands of people dead in Japan, and all you care about is who's beating up whom in Washington. Asshole.
