I just turned on the TV to Morning Joe, and the Terrible Trio of Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski, and Willie Geist, are shocked....shocked....SHOCKED, I tell you...that the New York Times would print such scurrilous accusations against John McCain.
I suppose it's understandable that Scarborough would be particularly sensitive about stories with allegations that may or may not be substantiated, given the fact that a young woman died under mysterious circumstances in his Florida Congressional office in July 2001. On the other hand, it isn't as if a spotlight was ever shone on Scarborough, perhaps because he was fortunate enough to have this little incident take place around the same time that the media was in a feeding frenzy about a young woman who disappeared and who was associated with DEMOCRATIC Congressman Gary Condit.
But do you think that if the Senator named in the New York Times article had been named "Barack Obama", the Morning Joe crew would be similarly shocked....shoched......SHOCKED AND APPALLED, that this kind of scurrilous story would appear in the pages of the Newspaper of Record?
