I used to work with someone who would say that her hair is a barometer of her inner turmoil. Well, nine is nice and short and shaped again, with a new dye job, so you can't tell my inner turmoil from my hair. But I am dealing with an 11-year-old cat (Maggie) who won't eat, who the emergency vet hospital says has some kind of infection in her mouth and who refuses the oral syringes we're using to try to medicate her. And I am getting ready to head out of town for a couple of days, leaving Mr. Brilliant to deal with trying to make a Kitty Burrito out of the cat and a towel, planning to go to a formulating pharmacy today to try to get her meds compounded into something palatable, and get some Buprenex into her so that she'll eat....and trying not to make myself sick at the possibility that she could starve by the time I get home. So not much in the mood for writing at the moment.
