We're back

Well, Mr. Brilliant and I are back from a lovely week at the best little resort in Jamaica that you never heard of. I have all kinds of interesting things to write about, like about how that most evangelical Christian of countries seems to have no problem with reconciling science and religion, and about how passengers NOT flying Air Jamaica are subject to ridiculous baggage searches and assorted harassment by -- I kid you not -- the Last Resort Detective Agency. But for now I'm sorting laundry and waiting for Mr. Brilliant to come home from a Midnight Quest for Burgers and going through e-mail, so I just want to thank the inimitable Tami for doing such a bang-up job filling in while I was away.
