Around the Blogroll and Elsewhere: Abandon All Hope Ye Who Enter Here Edition

I still can't get used to being able to link to Little Green Footballs. Want to know who the voices are spearheading the anti-Islamic commmunity center movement? Take a gander at these hatemongers.

Over at Drifty's place, if you didn't think the Breibartians were batshit crazy already, this will convince you.

Ted Frier over at They Gave Us a Republic on how Democrats need to somehow find a voice to restore support for government as a force for good.

Add two more to the Bloggers I Know Who Have Been Laid Off pile: Bustednuckles and Comrade E.B. Misfit. These are smart, capable, hard-working people. Why are people like these, and Drifty, and the others who have been jettisoned by the American Workplace, out of work while people like Sharron Angle whore antigovernment ideas in their quest to suck at the public teat themselves?

The New York Crank: What Barack Obama Can Learn from the Experiences of Shafted Chief Marketing Officers.

Jesse Taylor: 10 Questions No One Asked About George W. Bush.

Sorry, but when New Jersey's Roman Catholic governor has cut funding for family planning, people like Sharron Angle are saying that a 10-year-old being forced to carry her father's baby to term is "making lemonade out of lemons", and so-called "pro-life" groups have their sights set on contraception next, I just can't get all worked up about consenting adults posing nude for a magazine cover as a feminist issue. Perhaps this explains why I have a tendency to link to more male bloggers than female. But then I check out Pam's place, and find little gems like this. (Does anyone actually still care what Pat Boone says, anyway?)
